OhGood (run by Chat Nexus Inc.) makes websites for local businesses. This page says what we collect, why, who helps us, and how to reach us about it. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use advertising trackers.

What we collect

• Public information about businesses. To make a preview of a new website, we look at what’s public about a business: its website, listings, reviews, photos, and the names and roles of the people who run it.
• What you send us. Your name, email address, phone number and messages, when you fill in a form, chat with us or reply to an email.
• Chats. What you type in the chat on a preview page, and the answers you get.
• How a preview is used. Which buttons and pages on a preview are opened, when, and a scrambled fingerprint of the browser type (not your IP address), so we know the preview was seen.
• Payments. When you pay, Stripe collects your payment details. We receive your name, email, phone, billing address, the card brand and its last four digits, never the full number.

How we use it

• To make previews and write to businesses we think we can help. Every email from us has a link to stop them.
• To answer your questions, build and launch your website, look after it, and send you messages about it.
• To take payments and keep the records the law requires.
• To keep our services safe and working, and to make them better.

Who helps us

A few companies process information for us, only to provide our services:

• Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email), DigitalOcean and Supabase (hosting and our database).
• Anthropic and xAI (AI services that help us research businesses, write emails, build sites and answer chat questions).
• Google Fonts (the typefaces on our pages).

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect people or our services.

Keeping it

We keep information while it’s useful for the purposes above, then delete it. Payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.

Your choices

• Use the link at the bottom of any of our emails to stop them, or reply and ask.
• Ask us what we have about you, or to correct or delete it, at support@ohgood.company. We answer within 30 days. California residents have these rights by law, and we offer them to everyone.
• We don’t track you across other websites, so we treat every visitor the same whether or not their browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.

Security

Everything travels over encrypted connections, and only the people who need it can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Children

Our services are for businesses, not for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with its date.
